The Peter Diver Apprentice Sponsorship Trust is about sponsoring the industry to encourage apprentices to stay with their employer for 6 years. To do this, the trust pays out the apprentice up to $10,000 at the completion of a 6 year term with one employer. This not only benefits the apprentices, but the industry, as well as you the employer.
We believe this program will encourage apprentices to become fully qualified, which in turn helps lessen the major shortage of qualified tradesmen. It also reduces the risk of tradesmen leaving the country for greener pastures overseas, instead encourages loyalty to their employer.
